The New England Center for the Performing Arts, a new regional performing arts complex, is poised to make an extraordinary impact on the Boston Metrowest area's cultural environment through unmatched performing arts education and performance opportunities. The facility will be a place where students, families, artists, community members and patrons can become immersed in all aspects of the performing arts.

The new, 60,000 square foot, state-of-the-art performing arts complex includes a main stage theater, black box theater, recital hall, and an expansive performing arts education facility including professionally appointed classrooms, studios and rehearsal space. To broaden the education programming and reach new groups of students, The Center’s venues will be equipped to teach technical theater and stagecraft, and will include costume and scene shops and a recording studio.

The new performing arts center provides a needed opportunity for growth for FSPA. The current school facility is at capacity, limiting the opportunities to expand offerings within the current curriculum, to add new programming, and achieve a higher level of production. The increased teaching space with accessible facilities will enable The Center to open its doors to new groups of students, including adults, seniors, foreign exchange, students with special needs and underserved youth.

The main stage theater, black box venue and recital hall provide the stages necessary to complete the experience for those who study, teach or enjoy the arts. The opportunity to showcase the talent and realize the efforts of all who pursue music, dance and drama will be made possible at the New England Center for the Performing Arts.
