We envision a facility where students, families, artists, community members and patrons can immerse themselves in all aspects of the performing arts.
Our mission
The New England Center for the Performing Arts is a not-for-profit, charitable institution offering extracurricular performing arts education and training for students of all ages and abilities, as well as performing arts production and presentation programming, in the Metrowest region of Massachusetts. Galvanized by the belief that every person should be afforded the opportunity for creative expression, The Center fosters a passion for the arts, a disciplined approach to the development of life skills and a philanthropic spirit for future generations.
Our Vision
This project is about changing families’ lives through the arts. Answering the need for arts education, presentation, and production, the New England Center for the Performing Arts will be a unique, family and community-oriented facility with an environment that will give influence, inspiration and added value to every arts-in-education program it hosts. Building on more than 20 successful years of performing arts education and programming of the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) and the Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC), the New England Center for the Performing Arts brings these entities together under one 501(c)(3) organization. The new facility will allow for expansion of current programming as well as urban-suburban exchange programming, and accessibility will provide us with the opportunity to expand offerings for seniors and students with special needs. This powerful combination of professional extracurricular arts education and top quality performance opportunities is truly unique.
